Hi, I published a widget yesterday and it’s still not showing up in Plasma’s “Get New Widgets” dialog ~17 hours later.
- Widget: Contriburg — a 3D contribution-graph skyline widget
- Listing: Contriburg - OpenDesktop.org
- Plasma version: 6.7.2
- Distro: Bazzite
The listing is live and the widget installs fine manually (kpackagetool6 --type Plasma/Applet --install ., or downloading the tarball directly), but it doesn’t turn up in “Get New Widgets” even searching by exact name or partial keywords.
This looks similar to an earlier thread (now closed) where a staff member mentioned a sync issue between newly published items and the search index: Plasma 6 widget published on KDE Store does not appear in “Get New Widgets…”
Is this the same known issue, or is there something on my end I should check (category, compatibility tags, etc.)? Happy to provide any other details.
