Unable to sign in

When trying to sign in to my account (associated with email address merritt.kr@gmail.com) at pling, open desktop, kde-look, etc it just goes in a loop.

Click “Login” at the top-right and try to sign in (either username or email)
It shows attempting to sign in

Brings me back to the login page with no error

Happens on Linux & Windows, with Firefox & Chrome:

Sorry, this account was deleted earlier after many years of inactivity. This still does not explain the strange behaviour of the application, but at least why the login basically does not work.

That’s odd… I wonder if it is associated with one of my other email addresses, because the account I am thinking of still exists and I still receive monthly payments from Pling.

Ok, sorry, my mistake. I messed up the mail address and found a wrong account.
Right, your account still exists. As a first attempt, I have triggered a new synchronization of your account through the sub-systems. I am not sure if this helps. But I continue to look for a solution.

What you did seems to have fixed something, as I can now login again and update my packages! Thank you.

Oddly the account for the forum appears to be separate, as when I came to try and say this it wouldn’t let me sign in (again) saying my account was disabled - even though I was already successfully signed in to the main site.
