Support for Java apps

Is it possible to integrate a “jar - java archive” option in the package type selection of the file dialog?
I’d prefer to explicitly label an application as such.

In the OpenDesktop site, Android, macOS and Windows apps are allowed in the categories of Apps.

I just wanted to ask for the introduction of a new category or at least for the support of java-archives in the drop-down menu of the file-manager

We added the package type Java (.jar) for you.
