Im Giovanni Randazzo and im the writer and producer of “4 Profiles”
“4 Profiles” is a dystopian sci-fi screen life film that explores a world full of technological intrigue and dark secrets. It delves into the effects of digitization and a politics increasingly shaped by corporations. Essentially, it’s our homage to George Orwell’s 1984, adapted to modern times and packaged in the innovative genre of the desktop film.
We have a very limited budget, but we see a lot of potential in the project and there is already a great deal of passion from the crew and artists involved. So we aim for the highest possible quality in every part of it. Therefore, we are seeking a high-quality design for it.
As you may already know, the plot in a screen life film takes place, exclusively on the desktop, and since the film is set in the year 2050, we want to use an operating system that looks appropriately futuristic.
One option we are considering is utilizing either Ubuntu or Kubuntu along with a corresponding theme. Therefore, we need some design that would fit in our scenario.
With that in mind, we want to ask you, the community here.
Maybe some of you finds the project also fascinating and would be interested to be part of it.
