# Problem with newlines in description

If I have a list in description for my item like:

The list is as follows:

a) option one

b) option two

c) option three

newlines are ignored and it’s displayed like:

The list is as follows: a) option one b) option two c) option three

It’s tricky - there seem to be extra newlines in above example in the message but there’s just one between options

The line breaks are currently a problem — we are working on it. If it’s not too much trouble for you, you have the option of either using BBCode tags for lists ([cheat sheet](https://www.bbcode.org/listing-items-with-bbcode.php)) or Markdown syntax ([cheat sheet](https://www.markdownguide.org/basic-syntax/#overview)). Another option would be to use a [pre][/pre] tag.
