The developer of the news app seems to be struggling to keep up with Nextcloud releases. I understand as Nextcloud do release quite often. See [News - Apps - App Store - Nextcloud](https://apps.nextcloud.com/apps/news)
As we update Nextcloud to keep it secure, stable and bring newer features to users, it got disabled during an upgrade and sadly the developer hasn’t caught up. I will try to re-enable it periodically but only if the developer gets a stable release out.

oh, I see. Alright, I’ll wait for an update and search for an alternative as well I guess.
